This blog post explains the process from delivery of the music box to the buyer.

After the music box has been completed at the Nidec factory, we check it and ship it.

Music box completion notification

Nidec will inform us that the music box is ready. It takes about 2 months to complete the music box.

Pick up music box

We go to Nidec pick up the completed music box. It will take about an hour to arrive at Nidec since it is in the same Nagano prefecture and in a neighboring town.

The music box can be sent by mail to Nidec, but we believe it is important to inspect the music box together with Nidec at the time

We inspect the music box again after bringing back.

Recording of music box

After the inspection is completed, we record music box.

Check sound by video

Buyer to check the recorded music box. MP3 or limited YouTube access to check it out.

Packing for music box

After the buyer’s video is checked, we pack the music box.

To ensure that the music box arrives safely, we use lots of cushioning material to secure the music box so that it does not move.

We send it in a sturdy cardboard box specially prepared for export by DHL.

Pickup Request to DHL

After packing is complete, request a pickup from DHL. It takes one or two days for the shipment to be picked up.

All Takako Japan Store items are shipped via DHL.

We have tried other shipping methods in the past, such as EMS, but we have decided that DHL is the fastest and safest way to deliver our items.

DHL allows us to track the items we ship and keep an eye on them until they reach the buyer.

DHL picks up items, and DHL’s staff handles them with great care, making it a safe and reliable process.

Tracking

We track the music box until it arrives at the buyer. On the DHL website, we can check where your music box is located by putting in the tracking No.

After shipment, DHL will provide a status report each time there is movement in the item.

Checking the report, we can see that the music box traveled once to Hong Kong and then was delivered to the buyer.

We keep track of music box delivered to the buyer.
